It's Time to Pay Your Family Dues
The Burris Family Reunion Inc. is an incorporated organization with by-laws and dues. Our family dues are paid every 3 years, typically leading up to the next reunion.
Why pay dues?
The dues are paid to help provide ‘seed money’ to pay for expenses incurred during the planning stages of a reunion.
The dues also help offset reunion expenses. The more robust our bank account is based on dues and money left from the previous reunion, the more we can offer fun activities at a lower registration fee.
Finally, as an incorporated organization, we do incur expenses from time to time. While these fees are relatively nominal, the payment of dues helps ensure they are covered.
Should I pay dues even if I am not attending a reunion?
The short answer is yes. As a member of the Burris family, it is hoped that you will contribute to Burris Family Reunion Incorporated.
Dues structure:
Dues are incurred each year per the 3-year reunion cycle. E.g. Single = $10 per year x 3 years = $30
